Randy Beasley, LMFT

Marriage & Family Therapist | EMDR & DBT Trained

Owner/Founder of In-psyght LLC

Before I became a therapist, I was a pastor, and that perspective still shapes how I work with people. I help adults and couples who feel emotionally, spiritually, or relationally stuck. The people I work with often describe themselves as “doing fine on paper”—but inside, they’re burned out, disconnected, or deeply dissatisfied.

My approach combines evidence-based modalities like EMDR, DBT, and Gottman-informed couples therapy with honest, values-centered conversations. We look at what’s working, what’s not, and how to move toward the life you actually want to be living.

I specialize in:

Therapy with me isn’t about endless venting or passive listening—it’s about honest exploration, practical tools, and meaningful change.

Dr. Kristina Akopian-Beasley, Psy.D., Q.M.E.

Forensic Psychologist | CA & AK Licensed

Owner/Founder of In-psyght LLC

I specialize in forensic psychological evaluations for criminal and civil matters, working with attorneys, courts, and state systems in California and Alaska. Over the course of my career, I’ve completed more than 1,000 court-ordered evaluations and testified in over 75 legal proceedings as an expert witness.

My reports are known for their clarity, precision, and speed—often delivered within a week—and I remain available for follow-up consultations and trial prep. My work includes evaluations related to:

I have played a pivotal role in developing and implementing jail-based competency restoration services in Kern County, including the 2018 launch of a forensic treatment program within a correctional setting and the 2023 rollout of an Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) focused inpatient facility model.

In addition to my forensic practice, I am committed to the advancement of clinical training and psychological education. I designed and led a structured training program for graduate-level clinicians at an inpatient psychiatric facility, equipping the next generation of mental health professionals with hands-on experience in high-acuity settings.

Our Forensic Psychology & Therapy Services

Forensic Psychology for Attorneys

We provide thorough and defensible psychological evaluations for legal contexts, including competency to stand trial, not guilty by reason of insanity (NGI), neuropsychological testing, and sentence mitigation. Our reports are clear, court-ready, and typically delivered within 7 days. We also offer expert witness testimony, trial consultation, and report rebuttals.

Psychological Assessments for Adults & Children

Our testing helps adults and children better understand learning, attention, memory, and emotional challenges. We offer support for ADHD, autism, and school or testing accommodations. Each assessment includes a full report and a feedback session. Results are easy to understand and focused on real-life solutions.

Individual Therapy

Therapy is a space to explore what is not working and start making changes. We work with adults who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected from their lives. Sessions are honest, supportive, and focused on your values. You don’t have to go through it alone.

Couples Therapy

We help couples who feel stuck, distant, or constantly in conflict. Using tools from the Gottman Method, you’ll learn how to rebuild trust and understand each other better. Therapy focuses on real conversations and lasting change. It’s about growing together, not just fixing problems.

Our Shared Philosophy

Though our clinical roles are different, our work is grounded in shared values:

Clarity matters

Whether it’s a courtroom report or a client breakthrough, we aim for insight that’s direct, useful, and free of fluff.

Time is valuable

We don’t waste it. Our forensic work is timely; our therapy is structured to create forward movement.

Every person is whole

We don’t see people as problems to fix, but as individuals seeking alignment, understanding, and direction.

Real support is responsive

You won’t be chasing us for answers. We’re available, communicative, and invested in your outcomes.

“Therapy isn’t about fixing you. It’s about getting honest with yourself, and deciding what’s worth rebuilding.”

— Randy Beasley, LMFT
